My experience working with my architect daughter has been both a blessing and a curse. I’m just kidding, it has been a curse. I’m kidding again, she has been wonderful and we are a great team.
If you have been wondering, “how does our dynamic work?” an architect plans the spaces inside the building according to the needs and wants of the client and designs the building’s aesthetic with the environment in mind.
The Feng Shui master studies the energy of the environment of the client’s property. She makes sure that the building’s design can successfully usher in the positive Feng Shui energy inside the building that is coming from the immediate external environment.
The two main systems I use are San He External, Emperor Land form and for internal Feng Shui, I use San He Internal and Xuan Kong Flying Star systems.
The architect carefully plans the relationship of spaces within the building; the Feng Shui master introduces the flying star Feng Shui system to the designer during the design concept phase of the architect to make it easier for her to plan out the spaces more harmoniously. The flying star determines the energy of each sector and which spaces should be filled in. For example, in a house, the energy map generated by the flying star can determine which sectors the kitchen, bedroom, office and main door should be placed.
The architect designs the aesthetic of the house according to environmental factors like climate, the immediate surroundings or setting. The Feng Shui master studies the outside environment’s energy to determine the building’s aesthetic as well through San he and Emperor Landform. The San He and Emperor Land form systems are introduced by the Feng Shui master to the architect to help with the building’s proper form and shape, and which direction should the building face. All of these are performed to ensure that the client receives both beautifully designed home and good Feng Shui energy.
We both have different systems, one is conventional and the other one is unconventional but these two disciplines are more similar than they are different because both deal with energies but the execution of ideas are different.
The Feng Shui master and the architect are there to support each other to serve their common goal, which is to build a beautiful environment for the client with positive Feng Shui energy. The architect benefits greatly from the Feng Shui master because she ensures more safety and security through the positive energy that can bring in the architect’s creation. The Feng Shui master can benefit from the architect by giving technical and creative solutions to ensuring these energies get ushered in the building effectively.
